3RD ANNUAL VALENTINE
MAIL-O-GRAPHIC TOURNAMENT
OFFICIAL 2006 TOURNAMENT RULES
1. The
tournament will be open to Texas 500 Club members with current USBC membership
who have bowled in at least 21 games in their league before the qualifying
dates and have not had more than two (2) 600 series
in the current season. Only scores bowled in USBC certified competition will be counted as
tournament scores. The USBC
membership number of each participant MUST accompany the entry form. Texas 500 Club membership dues must be current to be
eligible to enter tournament.
2. Entry
fee is $10.00 per player, per league. Prize fund is paid on a 1 to 10
ratio. Entry fee breakdown is
$8.00 prize fund and $2.00 expense fee.
Include $5.00 for membership dues if not current for 2005-2006
season. Make checks payable to Texas 500 Club.
3. Handicap
is 90% of 200 per game. To figure handicap take 200 minus your season league
average (at least 21 games or more) X 90% X 3. Example: Average 150 - handicap 45 per game for a total of
135 total handicap. Bowlers with
fewer than 21 current season games at the time of the competition will use
their high 21 game book average (verified by secretary) from the 2004-2005
season to determine handicap. All
others will bowl scratch. Players
who compete in more than one league will use the appropriate average from each
league.
4. Tournament
bowling dates are February 1, 2006 through February
14, 2006.
5. The
score sheet accompanied by photocopy of league recap or computer generated
scores must be COMPLETELY filled out or the bowler may be disqualified without refund of entry
fee.
6. Bowlers
may submit entries for each sanctioned league in which they bowl but may cash
only once.
7. Entry deadline is January 29th, 2006. Postmark must be no later than
